DJ K.SHAY
Formally known as DJ Enigma, I grew up with inspiration from my father who was a DJ and had a huge selection of vinyl records from an array of genres. My father would create mix tapes for road trips, household events, my gymnastics competitions, and for friends and family. In 2000, using all vinyl, I began spinning at clubs and bars in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Since then, this hobby of love I have woven on and off through the years into all the work and services I provide. Over the last 20+ years my bookings have included weddings, yoga events, family dance parties, outdoor events, women’s dance nights, and nightclubs. You can hear me playing all genres of danceable and upbeat music, in which some of my favorites are funk, soul, r&b, reggae, hip-hip, house, jazz, disco, and afro beat.
